A short prayer
Saint Benedict, through the Cross of Christ, intercede for me and help me to reject evil and choose the good.
Written for Lumen as a simple personal prayer of intercession — not a liturgical text.
Associated devotion: The Medal of Saint Benedict, with its traditional Latin inscription Crux sacra sit mihi lux, non draco sit mihi dux (May the holy Cross be my light; let not the dragon be my guide).
