How we mark the evidence
Not “what would Jesus do” — no one can speak for him. Instead: what the Gospels actually show Jesus experiencing, doing, saying and teaching when people faced what you’re facing.
- Direct
- An explicit action or saying of Jesus in the Gospels.
- Strong principle
- A clear principle found across several Gospel passages.
- Interpretive
- A reasonable theological reading of the text.
- Pastoral application
- A practical reflection drawn from Scripture.
